First Church is blessed to bea multi-generaional community of faith. Many of our seniors are actively involved in the daily life of our congregation and its mission and outreach ministries. We celebrate these "seasoned" members, by offering some special programs and services designed with them in mind.
This senior social and information group meets in the church lounge at 10 am on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, from September through June. Speakers are drawn from the community, area colleges and universities, and from the congregation. Refreshments are served at each meeting. Lynn Westcot, Parish Nurse, is the facilitator.
Caring for a loved one with a chronic or debilitating illness can be stressful under the best of circumstances. The Parish Nurse, Lynn Westcot, facilitates this group designed to support and nurture the caregivers in our congregtion. The group meets in the Church Lounge at noon on the first Monday of each month.
