Join Us in Worship!
The best sermons I have are based on real life stories of the faith of everyday, humble people (like in the Gospels). Remember with me the people we know that have powerful, wonderful stories of faith. Let us celebrate how the gift of faith finds people to uphold, transform, and inspire our lives. The best sermons are lived in the lives around us.
October 4 & 5 - The Life of Christ in Communion.
October 11 & 12 - The Intrinsic Power of the Gospel. A homeless, drug-addicted teenager in the city opens a pocket New Testament that a soup kitchen gave him and what becomes of him.
October 18 & 19 - Whom Do You Empower? Money and power are indistinctly neither good or bad. It is how we use them.
October 25 & 26 - Consecration Sunday Stewardship Program. Rev. Paul Unger will be the guest leader.
Changed to Bring Change
We are in a place in history when change is coming at us at a faster pace than ever before. It can be exhausting, confusing, and downright scary. How are God's people supposed to react to change? Is change always a good thing? How can the promises of our faith bring us stability today and hope for the future?
October 5 - Called to Change. Change is difficult for most of us, but conversion is a central dynamic of our Christian faith.
October 12 - Amazing Change. In a time of such amazing change, those of us in the church need to have inquiring minds, minds that aren't afraid to ask "why" and "what if."
October 19 - Changing the Way We Give. We give out of a sense of gratitude to God, not to underwrite a church budget.
October 26 - Consecration Sunday. Join us as we celebrate the ministries of our church.
